We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product errors or promotional errors before accepting or fulfilling an order.

18. Livestock Transport

Live animals, including reptiles and some birds, are not treated as standard postage items.

Livestock transport may require a quote, store approval and suitable transport conditions.

Transport may depend on:

  • Transport availability
  • Legal requirements

  • Suitable collection or delivery timing

All livestock transport arrangements must be agreed beforehand.

19. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Returns, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy and Australian Consumer Law.

We do not automatically offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

Some products may not be suitable for change of mind returns due to hygiene, animal welfare, safety, product integrity, temperature sensitivity or special handling requirements.

This may include live animals, live food, frozen food, opened food, opened supplements, custom orders, special orders, used enclosures and used equipment.

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

20. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a replacement, refund, repair or other remedy if a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, not fit for purpose, or does not meet a consumer guarantee.

If a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. If the problem is minor, we may repair, replace or refund the item depending on the circumstances.

21. DOA Claims

DOA means “Dead on Arrival”.

DOA claims may apply to eligible live animals, live food or other live products where specifically stated.

DOA claims must be reported within the required timeframe and must include all required supporting evidence.

For a DOA request to be reviewed, we may require evidence such as:

  • Order number or receipt
  • Photos or video of the animal or live product
  • Packaging or transport photos
  • Time of collection or delivery
  • Transport details
  • Enclosure, tank or habitat setup photos
  • Heating, lighting, filtration or ventilation photos

  • Acclimation details where relevant
